At Improv’eat, we decided to join the powerful benefits of raw, unpasteurized young coconut water with a probiotic culture to create a coconut kefir we call Pro’lixir. Pro’lixir is a powerful antidote to the typical American diet that is often highly acidic and draining to the body. It is an alkaline beverage that provides a necessary and healthful way to introduce good bacteria, or microflora into the gut in order to create a healthier eco-system in the body. The young coconut water used is rich in potassium which is great for hair, skin and nails. It also contains magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, enzymes, B-vitamins and amino-acids.
